Lizard without a Tail

Was it a cat, a bird, or my own dog that got this one's tail? White Dragon has tried to catch a lizards while on our walks. She succeeded once, but her prey fought by biting the tongue of the dog that bit it. White Dragon dropped that lizard.

Well, good for the lizard. Does White Dragon still try to catch lizards after that experience?

Yes, she still does. Will see how long it takes her to learn.

Poor fellow (the lizard I mean). When Lucy was a puppy, she used to sniff and, at first, put in her mouth the little peeper frogs that would congregate outside my apartment. She eventually tired of it, but I can only imagine the heart attack those little frogs had when they went into Lucy's mouth! (Very Jonah and the whale.)

Poor White Dragon, but they are so interesting. How can she resist?
