And, I thought everything was going smoothly

Ah, what bumps moving a long distance presents us.

I write while waiting for the satellite installer to arrive. He has 1.5 hours left in the window. Not that we'll be able to enjoy the multitudes of channels. Our television and DVR/receiver wait in some state on a large truck, possible delivery is Saturday.

Big house. Big, empty house.

The dog hyperventilates when we walk her. She must believe that this cannot be real . . . dogs walk by the house. She gets to meet dogs! Daily!

White Dragon doesn't mind the empty house. The children, safely annoying my mother in Florida, would become crazed with the nothingness. We'll bring them on Saturday. They can climb boxes!

We LOVED the boxes. We would make these elaborate tunnels out of the boxes, cut windows in, all kinds of things. And the packing paper made for BIG coloring paper.

I agree with Liz. The boxes are awesome toys but the nagging need to find the 1 box where the 1 toy is...well...that I don't relish! I hope the girls like settling in and sleeping in an old house that "talks" and that they quickly make friends. It will make your life easier in the long run. Before you know it - we will be visiting too.
