Scenery Like This . . .

isn't to be ignored. Can I say again that this is something I will miss?

Hang it in the living room! I know it's not the same - but it IS attached to the same memories - and it's as lovely as lovely can be!

It's such an adventure you're heading for... How are you feeling?

Kell, I'm doing fine. Phill and I have a plan. My job is to execute it. So far, that is going well. The house is on the market (slow as it is), and we have tickets to NOLA to look for a house. The one volunteer position that I wanted filled before I leave looks like it will. Now, I just have to find a school for the girls. That reminds me . . .

What a beautiful photo. We drove Virginia's Blue Ridge Parkway last spring, and the mountains in the photo remind me of it.

It's never easy to pull up your roots and move to a new place. But at least, your old home and your new home are within a reasonable travel distance -- not halfway around the world -- so you can come back and visit.
