I ended the last chapter in The Solicitors of Abigail Bruce with the main character calling someone. I am now conflicted as to whether this rates an entire chapter or should be put at the end of the previous chapter.
What is the more interesting dynamic? Kathryn's erratic complaints, some of which are completely unrelated (you know you do the same thing), and Elizabeth's reaction. Or is it useful to just have the calmer side of the conversation with Elizabeth and read Ian's reaction that Kathryn turned to his mother?
