Where do you fall in this spectrum of earnings?

I happenend to be browsing the radio dial this morning and heard some statistics from the IRS that amazed me. These were compiled by The Tax Foundation which has been in existence since 1937. Here are the top percentages of earners and the values taken from 2003.

You are in the top 5% of earners if your adjusted gross income was above $130,080.
The top 10%: $94,891.
The top 25%: $57,343.

Another tidbit regarding taxes in 2003. The top-earning 25 percent of taxpayers (AGI over $57,343) earned 64.9 percent of nation’s income, but they paid more than four out of every five dollars collected by the federal income tax (83.9 percent). Wow!
